Who We Are
The JunTos Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Miami, FL. JunTos was established in 2004 by a group of young professionals whose lives were profoundly effected by the loss of their friends Juanchi de la Rua and Toti Mendez; two inspirational young men whose lives were unfairly cut short by cancer and cardiomyopathy. Our foundation is dedicated to curing cancer and raising awareness of heart disease by assisting organizations and individuals who are battling these diseases.

The mission of JunTos is to prevent the unnecessary loss of precious lives by assisting community research and treatment programs to raise awareness and promote early detection for cancer and heart disease; while honoring the memories of Juanchi de la Rua and Toti Mendez.

Our Fund Raising Method

Uniquely appealing to young professionals and guest of all ages within our community, our party unites friends, family and sponsors for a night brimming with food, drinks, live music and remembrance. We pride ourselves on providing unlimited amounts of complimentary drinks, food and fun for our honored sponsors and guests. Highlights of the evening include a silent art auction and a brief awards presentation given to an individual who has proven their courage for overcoming the adversity of cancer or heart disease.

We are a member of the Jackson Memorial Foundation Golden Angel Society.
We pride ourselves on looking for local opportunities to help children/families affected by either cancer or heart disease.
